Disappears While Swimming

By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, January 20. In attempting to swim around a river steamer moored at the Hamilton wharf, a girl, Sylvia Hill, aged 11 years, was drowned in the Waikato River yesterday afternoon. The child, who was swimming with friends, disappeared at the rear of the boat. Dragging operations for the recovery of the body hare so far been unsuccessful.
