Man Charged With Theft By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, January 20. For the theft of a horse valued at £32, a horse and foal valued at £26, and 16 cows valued at £4O, Willia'm Alexander Annan, a labourer, was sentenced to two years’ detention on each of three charges, the sentences to be ’concurrent. Accused had taken over a farm on lease, and when the'lease was cancelled he sold the stock eniimcrated in the charge.
