Wellington Swimmers
INJURY PUTS BELL OUT
The Wellington intermediate and junior representative team to compete at the New Zealand intermediate and junior championships, opening at Hamilton next Saturday and continuing on Monday and Tuesday, is announced by the selectors. Messrs. J. C. Blakeley and P. Coira. The team is as follows :— Intermediate: D. O’Neill and 'Miss V. Gotlieb. Junior: P. Robinson (boys). Through the accident that befell W Bell, winner of the boys’ intermediate Wellington centre 100yds. championship, the selectors considered it inadvisable to Include him in the team. It was thought that in the short time available he would be unable to do justice to his centre.
