Rugby, January 13.
There was a record production of steel in Great Britain in 1935. The output was 9,842,400 tons, compared with 8,860.000 tons in 1934, 9,660,000 tons in 1929 ami the previous highest annual output of 9.716,000 tons estao lished during the Great War in 1917. The production of pig-iron last year was 6,426,400 tons, compared with 5,979,000 tons last year and 7,580.000 tons in 1929.
