Sir Ernest Wreford, Melbourne, a director of the National Bank of Australasia, returned by the Jlakura after several weeks spent on holiday in New Zealand.
He said he wanted a really good holiday, so had become known as ‘‘Mr. E. Henry.” He added: “I do not want to talk about business nor will I say anything about conditions in New Zealand.”
