MINING INDUSTRY
By Telegraph—Press Association. Nelson, January 13. Replying to a Collingwood deputa-
tion, the Hon. P. C. Webb. Minister of Mines, said that if he had the power, which ho believed ho had, he would not permit people who had exclusive water rights in an area to hold up the mining industry by using such rights to the exclusion of others.
