JRENE DUNNE, one of the screen's most popular stars, lias been placed under long-term contract by Columbia Pictures for a series-of elaborate productions. Miss I imine, formerly a wellknown Broadway musical comedy star, had prima donna roles in Time.” “The Clinging Vine” and a revival of "Irene.” She was also with the Metropolitan Opera for a year. Miss Dunne made her screen debut in “Leathernecking” Then followed the feminine lend in “Cimtnaron,” which won her great acclaim from critics and public. Since then she lias been seen in stellar roles in "Back Street.” “Sweet Adeline." "Ann Vickers,” "Stingaroe” and “The Age of Innocence.” “Roberta” was her latest screen triumph.
