Calgary, August 27.
The Reid Government is suspending payments of Alberta Government Bank savings certificates following a rush by depositors to withdraw their- savings in fear of tlie coming inauguration of the Social Credit Government. Certificates payable on demand which are outstanding total 10,000,009 dollars.
