New Liner Port Townsville

Rugby, August 27. The new 9000-tou motor-liner Port Townsville, built by Swan, Hunter and Wigham Richardson, Ltd., for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, which is in London after completing her trials, although technically a cargo vessel, has accommodation for 12 passengers high in tlie ship in rooms with hot and cold running water. She is fitted with the latest refrigeration and chilling plant and has over 300,000 cubic foot of refrigerated cargo space and 200.000 cubic feet of general cargo space. She will carry butter, cheese, fruit and frozen and chilled meat, in addition to general cargo.
