British Delegates to B.M.A. Conference \ By Telegraph..—Press Association. Auckland, August 28. Dr. R. H. Fetherston, of Melbourne, arrived by the Wanganella to-day a,s the representative of the Victorian branch of the British Medical Association to attend an advance welcome to the party of 260 English medical men and their wives, who will arrive on Sunday. They are on their way to Melbourne to attend the annual meeting of the .British Medical Association, which for the first time in history is to hold an annual conference away from England. The party includes the president (Dr. Watson Smith), the medical secretary (Dr. G. C. Anderson), the business secretary (Dr. Ferris Scott), the chairman of the council (Dr. E. K. Le Fleming), the chairman of the representative body (Dr. H. S. Soultar), the treasurer (Dr. N. Bishop Harman), the deputy-chairman (Dr. A. Guy Dain), the chairman of the Irish Public Health Council (Sir E. Coey Bigger), the medical superintendent of the Lord Mayor’s Crippled Children Movement (Sir Henry Gouvain), also Sir Ewen Mac Lean, Sir Stewart Purves, and Sir William Wilcox. The conference opens at Melbourne University on September 9 and is expected to last a week.
