Secondary School Teams By Telegraph-— Association Auckland, August 28. The North Island secondary schools Soccer tournament commenced to-day. Auckland senior representatives defeated Manawatu in a hard game by 6 goals to 3. Scorers for Auckland were McDonald (3), Haydon (2) and McLachlan, while Stewart (2) and Nicholls scored for the losers. In the junior games, Hawke’s Bay beat Wellington by 3 goals to nil, and Wanganui beat Manawatu by 4 goals to 1.
