MIRAMAR SCOUTS
Last year’s officers were re-tiectcd with power to appoint others up to the required number at the annual meeting of the Miramar Scout Troup. Mr. 11. Jamieson presided. , . Awards gained by the scouts during the past few months were presented by Mr. H. V. Foster, Metropolitan Commissioner for the Wellington district, and those won by the clubs were presented by Mrs. Foster. An entertaining programme of items followed, incluuing a duet by Scout Colin Jamieson ana Master Noel Whitt, a demonstration oi work by the scouts and cubs, a song by Scout Ray Morgan, jungle dances by the cubs, a recitation by Cub Hedley King, and an item by Mr. Rodgers. A ventriloquial item by Mr. Middleton, accompanied by Mr. Donoghue on the guitar, was very popular.
