SALESMAN REMANDED

Alleged False Pretence The obtaining of £47 from George Diack by a false pretence was alleged against Marcus Jackson, salesman, aged 28, in the Magistrate’s Court, Welling; ton. yesterday. On the application of the’police Jackson was remanded by Mr. E. D. Mosley; S.M.. until September 18, bail being allowed. A charge of indecently assaulting a 15-year-old boy in Wellington on August 1 against Herbert John Alexander Taylor, aged 54, was dismissed.
