Manor Park Ladies’ Club A Stableford competition for Miss Fairbrother’s trophy will be played by the Manor Park ladies’ club on Saturday. Entries are now being received for the championships to commence on September 7. Paekakariki Ladies’ Club An open day will be held on the Paekakariki links on Sunday. A silver cup has been presented by Mrs. Harold Smith for a medal round, and a large entry .is expected. A foursome bogey over nine holes will be played in the afternoon. In the monthly L.G.U. medal round Miss R. Smith, 86-15-71, in the seniors, and Miss E. Robinson, 101-23-78, in the juniors, returned the best scores. A hidden-holes competition for Airs. L. Smith’s trophy was won by Miss M. Grimstone. Rotarians’ Tournament The members of the Wellington Rotary Club held a tournament on the Miramar links yesterday afternoon. The competition took the form of a bogey handicap, and the best cards returned were:—N. Bell (15), J. M. A. Hott (18), F. R. Jones (18), G. Patterson (11). 4 down; S. B. Davys (8), 5 down; J. H.
