Island Championships

The North Island badminton championships concluded to-night The champions are; Men’s singles, H. Fow (Waikato); runner-up, R. E. Handley (Wanganui). Women's singles, Miss J. Treloar (Wanganui); runner-up, Mrs. H. Fow (Waikato). . Men’s doubles, Fow and B. E. H. Collinge (New Plymouth) ; runners-up, H. Dolamore and S. Speed (Auckland). Women’s doubles, Misses J. Treloar and M. Bright (Hawera) r runners-up, Mesdames Fow and C. J. E. Smith (New Plymouth). Combined doubles, Fow and Mrs. Fow; runners-up, Handley and Miss Treloar. The B grade men’s singles were won by D. J. S. Moginie (Wellington).
