L. R. Keating For Wellington?
Tire committee winch was set up at a recent public meeting to endeavour to raise the necessary funds to enable a.cricket eoaeh to be engaged for Wellington for the approaching season has done its work well and the sum required is now in hand. It is understood that the management committee of the Wellington Cricket Association has decided to engage L. R. Keating, of Melbourne. For the past five years, Keating has occupied the position of captain-coach of the Richmond club, Melbourne. He is an all-round player, being an able batsman and capable left-hand bowler. He has represented Victoria, and in one .Sheffield Shield match scored 156 in an innings against New South Wales.
