Dominion Breweries, Ltd.

An issue of 40,000 preference shares of £1 each is proposed by Dominion Breweries, Limited. The proposed new shares will carry a cumulative dividend of 5 per cent., and will rank equally with ordinary shares tor dividend in the event of profits being available after the payment of a dividend of 5 per cent, on ordinary shares. The shares will also be preferential as to capital and arrears of dividends, If any, in the case of liquidation. The directors propose to convert 40,000 of the present unallotted shares into preference shares for the purpose of the issue. The company now has a nominal capital of £250,000 in 250.000 ordinary shares of £1 each, of which 78,207 shares have been issued and fully paid. The new shares will be available to shareholders in the first instance.
