Union Cargo Service

The following are the luovemeuta ot Union Company vessels engaged in its iulereolouiat cargo service:— The Gabriella is to leave Greymoutb on Saturday for Melbourne, thence to Newcastle, where she will load about September 10, completing ai Sydney tor Napier. The Kairauga left Wellington last Saturday tor Newcastle, where she will load on August 30, completing possibly at Sydney for Auckland aud Wellington. The Kalingo left Westport last Monday for Syuney, thence to Newcastle and Sydney to load for New Plymouth, Plcton anL Wanganui. The Karepo, from Editliburg, is to leave Adelaide to-day lor Auckland. Portland, Wellington, Lyttelton aud Dunedin. The Karetu, from Newcastle, Sydney, Port Kernbla and Hobart, was due off Bluff last night, aud will berth this morning. She will later discharge at Duuedlu, Tlmaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, and is due here about September 6. The Kartigi is to leave Tlmaru to-day for Bluff and Greymoutb to complete loading for Melbourne aud Adelaide. The Kiwitea is to leave Auckland ou Saturday for Newcastle to load for Miramar and Gisborne.

The Ngakuta, en route from Newcastle and Sydney to Wellington, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive here at 6.30 a.m. to-morrow.

The Omana, from Newcastle and Sydney, left Melbourne ou Tuesday for New Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington, Westport and Greymoutb. The Waipahi is to leave Sydney to-day and Newcastle to-morrow for Fiji and. Auckland.

The Waitaki was to have left Melbourne yesterday for Bluff, Duuedlu, Lytteltou and Wellington. She is due here next Thursday, and will leave again the following day for Melbourne, via Bluff.

MONOWAI DOCKED. The Union Company’s liner Monowai went into dock yesterday morning in the course of her overhaul and survey. Sho is to leave Wellington ou September 6 for Sydney, where she will relieve the Aorangi in the Vancouver service for one round trip. — Z CAPE YORK LATER. The Union Company has received advice that its chartered motor-ship Cape York is now to leave San Francisco on September 3 and Los Angeles on September 5 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. She Is now due at Auckland on September 36. NARBADA REPORTS. En route from Calcutta, via Peuang, Singapore and Samarang, the Union Company’s chartered steamer Narbada has reported by wireless that she expects to reach Auckland next Thursday morning. She will later discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru. Dunedin and Bluff. * HERTFORD’S DEPARTURE. The Federal steamer Hertford is now to clear Auckland finally to-morrow for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. C, & D. LINE SAILINGS. The C. & D. Line advise that the motorrs ship Port Hobart will now leave New* York on October 30 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton aud Dunedin in place of the Port Denison. The Port Hobart’s sailing from London on November 27 for Wellington and Lytteltou will be taken by' the Port Huon. PORT FAIRY DELAYED. Delayed at Bluff by bad weather, the C. & D. Line xuotor-sliip Port Fairy is now to leave there to-morrow for Tlmaru to complete discharge of her London cargo and to commence her Homeward loading. THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. Canadian National Steamships have received cabled advice that the Canadian Scottish cleared Colon last Sunday. She left Wellington on July' 25 for New York, Boston and Montreal. WAIRANGI DELAYED. The Shaw.’Savill Company has received advice that its motor-ship Wairangi ar- t rived off Bluff yesterday morning from Port Chalmers to continue her Homeward loading, but was unable to enter the port owing to a heavy westerly gale. She spent yesterday sheltering at Stewart Island. COPTIC AT LONDON. Cabled advice has been received ..-by the Shaw. Savill Company that its motor-ship Coptic reached London on Tuesday morning. She left Port Chalmers on July 22 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. WANGANELLA AT AUCKLAND. From Sydney the Huddart Parker motorliner Wanganella reached Auckland yesterday morning. She is due at Wellington on .Saturday morning and will leave again later the same day for Sydney and Melbourne. MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Captain A. T. Toten has takeu command of the R.M.S. Maunganul at Sydney, relieving Captain' W. Martin for instructions. Captain A. H. Davey is returning from holiday leave to take command of the Marama, relieving Captain G. B. Morgan for holidays.
