'Another step in the gradual decentralisation of the Ilapag-N.D.L. Union is marked by the announcement of the formation of a company with a capital of 4,000,000 marks to take over the Hapag vessels on the Levant service ami three additional vessels of the Norddeutscher Lloyd. The new concern, which Is to be known as Deutsche Levant Llnle Hamburg. G.m.bJH., will start with 27 vessels of a total deadweight capacity of 123.000 tons, and it is understood that tenders for several additional vessels will be invited almost Immediately. Another company, to bo established at Bremen, and known as the Deutsche Levant Llnle Bremen. G.m.b.H.. will run the remaining Norddeutscher Lloyd vessels engaged in the Levant trade. ■
