OBITUARY
Mr. E. R. Bean The death occurred at Now Plymouth of .Mr. E. R. Bean, formerly postmaster at Woodville. Lower Hutt, Collingwood, To Aro, and Feilding, and relieving postmaster at. Wellington. lie retired from service .15 years ago, says a Press Association message, and bad resided since at New Plymouth. He was a very keen bowler. He is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. A. Grant, of Ashburton. Mr. W. Bean, of Nelson, is a brother. Mr. Frank Williams The death has occurred at Auckland of Mr. Frank Williams, well known for many years as the "Down-and-out. Missioner.” Born at Lawrence 61. years ago, says a Press Association 'message, ho established a mission in Auckland about 15 year ago. He recently visited the south, preaching in Wellington, Christchurch and elsewhere. Mrs. A. M. Jakobsen The death is reported from Foxton of Mrs. A. M. Jakobsen, aged 77 years. Mrs. Jakobsen was born in Norway, and after living in the U.S.A., where she was married, and in Australia, came to the Dominion over 25 years ago. She and her husband had resided in Foxton for the past 23 years. Mrs. Jakobsen leaves, besides her husband, Mr. 11. P. Jakobsen, one sou, Mr. Oscar Jakobsen, of 'Wellington, and seven grandchildren.
