WILL NOT RACE AGAIN
The King’s Yacht Britannia
London, August 26.
The King's yacht Britannia will not race again, and the King will not race another yacht. His Majesty is reported to have replied, when offered a faster craft, “I don't want a new yacht. The Britannia is good enough for me.” Sir Philip Hunloke, the King’s sail-ing-master, commented: “One can t come in last all the time. It is humiliating to the old boat. It is better to retire while she has a. wonderful record.”
