BOYS’ COLLEGE DRIVE
Money For Further Paving
Authority for surfacing a further portion of the drive at Wellington College was given by the board of governors yesterday, following upon a report by the headmaster, Mr. W. A. Armour, that he had £175 available for this purpose. . “The parents and those of us who have been engaged this year in collecting this .money desire the board to negotiate now. either with the City Corporation or the Public Works Department to have a stretch of paving completed from the side entrance to Firth House, at least down to the brick pavilion. We believe the money we have will be sufficient to carry the work further than this,” said Mr. Armour.
