KARORI QUEEN CARNIVAL
The three queens in the Karori Sports Queen Carnival are all close together, cricket leading from hockey and Rugby in that order, and it is impossible for anyone to accurately forecast the .winner. This week there will be held the final events arranged by each committee, and it promises to be a very busy time for all concerned. Many bright ideas for merry-making and money-making have already been used during the carnival, and there are more to come during this final week, which should be the brightest of a very bright and interesting contest. The result will be announced at a dance on Saturday night, and the crowning will be next Wednesday.
