ESPERANTO CLUB
The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club took place on Monday night in the hall of the Tararua Tramping Club. Mr. Vernon J. Leek presided. A postcard was received from Mr. Joseph Major, ex-member of the club, written on the high slopes of Fujiyama, conveying greetings. Correspondence was nceived from individual Esperantistsand Esperanto clubs in England, Italy. Germany, Latvia, Brazil, and the U.S.S.R. Classes were organised under the leadership of experienced teachers and satisfactory progress reported in the tuition
Instead of the customary programme a dance followed, Mr. Bertram Potts acting as M.C. Messrs. Nelson Hill and Fred Dah] played the piano, and there were guitar duos by Messrs. J. Thomas and Hill, and Messrs. Henri W. Thoms and Dahl.
