Probation For Negligent
Driver

Found guilty, with a strong recommendation to mercy, in the Supreme Court at Hamilton yesterday of negligent driving causing death, John Henry Alahood, 24, was placed on probation for two years by his Honour Alr. Justice Callan to-day, with a special condition that he pay the cost of prosecution, £27, during that period. His Honour remarked that it was not a case of wild dx-iving in a powerful car. Alahood was led into trouble by his associates. He should have more character anil show more wisdom in choosing his friends.
