OPERATING TOGETHER
Williamson Pictures and Kemball Theatres
More than 50 picture houses run by the J. C. Williamson Picture Corporation, Ltd., and Kemball Theatres, Ltd.. in the North Island are affected under a business arrangement which has been entered into by the two groups. A statement issued jointly last night by the directors of both circuits was as follows: —“The association between the two companies which has existed for several years in a number of provincial towns in the North Island has now been extended to include the interests of the two companies in Wellington. The arrangement provides in future for the doses association of the interests of both companies.” As a company, Kemball Theatrewill continue as usual.
