MUSIC IN SCHOOLS
Mr. H. Temple White, who lias been building ou hhe foundations laid by the late Mr. Douglas Tayler for musical education in the .schools, will present his first concert for primary and secondary scholars iu the Town Hall at: 4 p.m. next: Wednesday, and such has been tlie response from headmasters and teachers, that there promises to lie a large audience. At this concert Air. White’s junior girls' and boys’ choirs will sing numbers suitable to the occasion. Mr. Gordon Short will play pianoforte solos, Miss Myra Sawyer will sing the famous "laughing Song” from "Manon Leseaiit,” and Madame de Aluuny will assist at lhe piano.
