NGAIO LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
The Ngaio branch of the League of Mothers held its monthly meeting recently, Mrs. Cummings presiding. The speaker for the afternoon was Mrs. Martin, who spoke on “The Pioneer Woman and the Woman of To-day,” a subject which was fuirof interest for all. Mrs. Rollings moved a vote of thanks to the speaker. Mesdames Castle and Wilman were the artists for the afternoon, the former reciting a poem entitled "The Women of the West” and the latter giving an exceptionally fine vocal solo. Both were encored.
