A young bridegroom at Milford-du-Sea. Hampshire, spent his wedding morning reeentiy in fighting a fire. He was I.eoii nfd Fugett. of Spring Cottage. Milford' Fire broke out in the thhtehed roof of the cottage w-htire lie lived witli his 7(1-year-old widowed mother. Together mother and .son held the flumes in cheek until the brigade arrived, after doing the four miles in 5J minutes 'I he tire was subdued in half an hour. Wfietr the brigade took charge, . the bridegroom went across to a friend's house and there donned his wedding clothes, lie was nutrried in the afternoon.
