V.A.D. Social Club
A most enjoyable evening was held on Thursday last by members of the V.A.D. Social Club, Wellington, in the Red Cross Rooms, Dixon Street. Elocutionary items were given by Miss Elaine Weeber, and two plays, “Slippers of Cinderella” and “Birds of a Feather,” were read. Supper was served, and members passed a vote of thanks to Miss Doreen Cunningham, the hostess, for this month’s entertainment.
