Wellington Girls’ College
The day chosen for the annual swimming sports of the Wellington Girls College was unfortunately the worst for many weeks. Nevertheless when the sports were held yesterday at the Thorudon Baths both competitors and spectators showed their usual enthusiasm, and the programme of events was carried through with commendable expedition.
' The results are as follow Senior champion: Mirabel Morton, 13 points; runner-up.-Audrey Surgisson, 11 points. Junior champion: Betty Downes, Jo points; runner-up, McEwan, 11J points.
