Mrs. Stuart Burney, Sydney, left Wellington last evening for the north. Miss J. Plimmer, 'Wellington, is staying with her sister, Mrs. H. H. Bramwell, Hawera. Mrs. D. W. AVestenra, Canterbury, who .has been visiting'‘Wellington, returned south last evening.

Miss Henry, England, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. L. 0. H. Tripp, Molesworth Street.

Misses Joan and Patricia Ryan, Bouleott Street, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. P. O’Neill, 'Wanganui. Miss Ola Rudman, Auckland, is the guest of Miss Nau Kemble-Welch, Karori.

Mrs. Bruges, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs. Rankine Brown, Burnell Avenue.

Mrs. G. Petrie, who has been staying in Marlborough with Miss Mary Weld, has returned to 'Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. S. Riddler, Heretaunga, left yesterday for a three weeks’ holiday at French Pass.

Mr. and Mrs. Stronach Paterson, Pipitea Street, have been staying at Christchurch and left there yesterday for Dunedin.

Mrs. A. V.-Allen; Burnell Avenue, left last evening for a visit to Ranglora, qhere she will be the guest of her sister, Mrs. Palairet, for a fortnight. Mr. and Mrs. George Court are Auckland visitors, to Wellington. They came to meet Mr. and Mrs. T., G. Symonds, London, who arrived by the Rangitiki and intend to reside at Auckland. Mrs. J. F. M. Fraser and Miss Scott, are staying with Mrs. T. A. Fraser, Oriental Bay. Mrs. Fraser is visiting Wellington owing to the illness of her daughter, Mrs. P. S. K. Macassey. Mrs. Alfred Caselberg, Mastetton. sailed by the Wanganella yesterday for Sydney, where she will join the Orford for London. Mrs. Caselberg expects to be away about nine months. Miss L. Small, formerly Red Cross nurse at Hawera, has accepted an appointment with the Health Department at Wellington, and arrived here yesterday.
