MAN FRACTURES LEG
Accident at Masterton Masterton, February 14. A freezing worker, William McDonald,, a middle-aged man and a resident of Mount Bruce, was admitted to the Masterton Hospital this morning, suffering a fractured right leg and considerable shock, as the result of an accident at the junction of Queen Street with Opaki and Te Ore Ore roads. About 7 a.m. Mr. McDonald was going to the Waingawa Freezing Works, where he is employed, riding a motor-cycle. When turning into Queen Street from Opaki Road he collided with a heavy motor-lorry driven by .William James Sturdee, which wms proceeding out of Queen Street into Te Ore Ore Road. There was no other traffic 1 about at the time. Mr. McDonald ■was removed to the hospital. The motorcycle was damaged in front, but the lorry was undamaged.
