Music by Irving Berlin.
TRYING BERLIN, whose songs have made American entertainment history, has been signed by RKO Radio
Pictures to write the score for and assist in the production of a new musical picture to star Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. The Irving Berlin film, to be entitled "Top Hat,” will go into production on the completion of “Roberta,” the RKO Radio filming of the Jerome Kern musical comedy hit which features Irene Dunne, Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire.
Joan de Beere, vvlio is better known in Wellington as Joan Beere. is one of the solo dancers in “Rhapsodies of 1935,” the spectacular Ei-nest Rolls Revue at the Apollo Theatre. Melbourne. She has done very well on the Australian stage, and was exceptionally popular jn the bright musical comedy. “The Merry Malones.”
