French Air Force in 1936 BRITAIN’S STRENGTH (Received February 13, 7 p.m.) London, February 13. The “Daily Mail’s” Paris correspondent says that France will have the best air force in Europe at the end of 1936.
“The Anglo-French aerial agreement is directly based on that fact,” said General Denain, Aft- Minister, in an address at Sorbonne. He. urged the importance of civil aviation as vital to national security and said that the British Empire had only 2800 fighting planes, which were totally inadequate for such a widespread Empire.
