Loss on British Team’s Tour The final statement of the recent tour of the British amateur golf team, submitted to the monthly meeting of the council of the New Zealand Golf Association this week, showed that after paying all travelling expenses for the visitors and expenses in connection with the matches, there was a loss on the tour of £284/18/7. It was resolved that the statement be passed and forwarded to Christchurch, together with relative vouchers, for perusal on behalf of Mr. Arthur Sims, who arranged the tour. A letter was received from the Christchurch Golf Club, indicating that any date between October 1 and 19 would suit that club for the commencement of the 1935 tournament. Easter tournament, April 20, 22 and 23; Invercargill Golf Club, Southland provincial golf championship, April 19, 20 and 22; Poverty Bay Golf Club (Gisborne), annual amateur'tournament, September 3, 4 and 5.
