Y.M.C.A. Club’s Events Tlie following events were conducted by Hie Y.M.C.A. Swininiing Ciub on Tuesday evening nt Te Aro Ballis, for the president's trophy series :— Plunge : .R. Barnes (48ft. 7in.). 1; J. White (47ft. Sin.). 2; C. L. Hulston (44ft. Gin.). 3. Diving: J. Waliaee. I; C. L. Huston. 2; H. Ward. 3. * .Juniors. —Plunge: A. Appleton (30ft. sin.). 1; H. Goetzlof (281't. 4in.). 2; R. Howarth (25ft. 9in.), 3. Leaders in the president’s trophy co-in-petition are: —J. Wallace (12), L. Willetts (9). R. Barnes. C. L. Hulston and O. S.. Oliver (7). Tile water polo match. Y.M.C.A. v. University,' resulted in favour of Y.M.C.A by 2 goals to nil. C. Fittes scored' both goals. Mr. P. Coira was referee. The foliowin" will represent Hie club in the Peel; Sliield harbour race, next Saturday:—L. Waller. K. Osborne. D. McLachlan. L. Riley and R. McConnell. The club’s individual swimmers will be :— 0. L. Hulstbii. J. Torbit, I. Gow, and J. White. A silver medal donated by Mr. K. S. Henry will lie presented to the first Y.M.C.A. swimmer to flush.
