CROQUET TEST MATCH
Australia Beats England (Received February 6, 12.30 a.m.) Melbourne, February 5. Australia defeated England in the croquet Test match by four rubbers to two. When play resumed England had a chance to draw if the side won the two doubles but victory was assured for Australia when Windsor and McCleery defeated Dupre and Wemyss. The remaining rubber went to three games before Miller and Hunt went down to I’oulter and i’etley (England).
