Coming-of-Age Party Flowers of many hues and native foliage were used as decorations at the Mokoia' Hall recently, when Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Weeber, Wellington South, gave a coming-of-age party for their elder daughter, Miss Joyce Weeber. Mrs. Weeber received her guests wearing a dress of floral spun silk. Miss Weeber’s frock was of ivory crepe, cut on classical lines. She wore a shoulder posy of pink begonias and carried a bouquet to tone. Several toasts were honoured during the evening and dancing continued till a late hour. Among the many presents received by Miss Weeber was a large gold key. Miss Elaine Weeber, who wore blue checked organdie muslin, gave several elocutionary items. Visitors Entertained Following an interview ' yesterday morning with the Prime Minister, lit. Hon. G. W. Forbes, Dr. F. P. Keppel, president of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, who, accompanied by Mrs. Keppel, is visiting the Dominion, was entertained at morning tea. Dr. and Mrs. Keppel were received by Mr. and Mrs. Forbes, and met Cabinet Ministers and their wives.
