BOWLERS’ VISIT
Players From Manawatii A party of players representing the Manawatu Bowling Centre will arrive in Wellington by the Limited express to-day to play against the Wellington centre at the Wellington green, commencing at 2 p.m. Four rinks ate expected from the Palmerston North club, two each from Takaro, Foxton and Northern, and one each from Bulls, Woodville, Manawatu. Terrace End, Feilding, and Oroua. The match will be of 16 rinks. The following teams will represent Wellington :—Liddle, Perry, Kershaw, Gilbert; Holmes, Bassant, Hepburn, Glennie; Hayden, Swanson, Jones, Stone;’ Jacobs, Simpson, Redmond, Mayer; Upton, Scott, Stonehouse, Hudgins; Jenkins. Key, Munro, Taylor; Porteous, G. A. Jones, Mills, Rodger; Coleman, Donald, 'Raven, Noad ; August, McKenzie, Brooks, Shearer; Colquhoun, Alien, C. Bennett, Wellings; Mclntire, Johnstone, Stonebanks, McWhannell; Galey, Thompson, Green, J. W. Jones; Tregonning, Christensen, McKelvie, Duncan ; Hooper, Davison, Parton, Potter; A. Bennett, Hardie, Horwood, J. A. Doherty. During the morning the visitors will play games on the Wellington, Thorndon, Victoria, and Island Bay greens. They will return to their homes by the Limited express in the evening.
