LODGE MEETING
NeWtown Druids’ Evening Arch Druid Bro. Cox .presided over a recent meeting of Coronation Lodge No. 26, U.A.0.D., there being a large attends mice of members and 100 visitors. Grand See. Bro: Laughton and Grand Treas. Bro. Mawhinhey paid an official visit, and were accorded the honours of the order. Bro. Smithson, P.A., gave reports.on the U.F.S. Dispensary and the Druids Hospital Association annual meeting. A vote of thanks was accorded the visitors, Arch Druids, and officers of every lodge in Nos. 2 and 21 districts, and men and women members from Paraparaumu, Weraroa Lodge. Lodge routine business having been disposed of, a social evening was held, Bro. Cooper, P.A., being the guest of the evening. During the evening Bro. Kuch led in community songs, Bro. Bowarth gave several itejns with his “musical spoons,”, and Bros. Michel played xylopjione solos. Bro. Hogg and Mr. P. Smyth sang solos. Bro. King, of Excelsior Lodge, was the accompanist.
