Handsome Gift For Forced Landing Competition
Recently presented to the Wellington Aero Club by Mr. D. Jameson is a new trophy for a forced landing competition between the pilots holding A and A endorsed licenses. The new trophy, which is a wellchosen and distinctive addition jto the club’s trophies, is a miniature propeller mounted on a stand, the whole being made of New Zealand woods. Beautifully finished, the stand of the trophy is finely inlaid with a number of varieties of wood, and the propeller is expertly turned. The first competition for the trophy will- probably be held next month.
