MYSTERY ON MAHENO
Passenger Disappears

Invercargill, February 4
When passengers on the Maheno, which reached Bluff to-day, were summoned yesterday for medical inspection a man named C. A. Burnett, who embarked at Melbourne, failed to appear. An unsuccessful search was made. He was last x seen on .Saturday night on deck having a snitse. The police have taken possession of the man’s baggage.
