Kirkman and R. Taylor, competed. Results: — A. grade handicap final: R. Dixon (ssec.), 1; R. Taylor (scr.), 2; K. Kirkman (scr.), 3. Experts’ match race, three laps, clutch start—First heat: Kirkman, 1; Taylor, 2. Time, 1.3 4-5. Second heat: Kirkman, 1; Taylor, 2. Time, 1.4. A grade scratch race: C. Rhodes, 1; C. Talbot, 2; J. Hobson, 3 Time, 1.3 3-5. Gold helmet scratch race, first match: C. Rhodes, 1; J. Hobson, 2. Second match: W. Dumpleton, 1; J. Roscoe, 2. Final: Rhodes, 1; Dumpleton, 2. Won by 10 lengths. Time, 1.4 4-5.
