WEEK-END ACCIDENTS
Free Ambulance Busy Abrasions to his left cheek and slight concussion were received by Mr. J. , Proebestel, 79 Pirie Street, in a collision between a motor-cycle and a bicycle at the corner of Pirie Street and Kent Terrace on Saturday. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. Knocked down by a motor-lorry on Saturday, Mrs. C. Devon, 520 Adelaide Road, received a fracture of the collarbone and lacerated wounds to her scalp and left wrist. She was removed to hospital by the ambulance. After diving off a spring-board at Worsen Bay on Saturday evening, T. Rigg, 82 Totara Road, aged 15, struck the bottom and received head injuries. He was taken to hospital by the ambulance suffering from concussion. A fracture of the left ankle was received by Mr. R. N. Sunnex, 5 Alpha Street, while competing in. the jumping events at the athletic sports at Petone on Saturday afternoon. . After being attended by the St. John Ambulance Brigade he was taken to hospital by the ambulance.
