GORGE CLOUDBURST
Communication Cut Off in Central Otago By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, February 3. As the result of a cloudburst in the gorge between Clyde and Cromwell this afternoon both rM and road communication with upper Central Otago is blocked. The full extent of the damage is not known in Dunedin tonj£ht,. but it is understood that five slips of a total length of one mile occurred on the railway line. A work train left to-night for the gorge.
