Christchurch Regatta By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, February 3. The Christchurch regatta was held at Stewart's Gulley on Saturday. Results were:— ' Lightweight maiden fours: Akaroa, 1; Avon, 2; Wellington, 3. Union and Thnaru also'started. Senior double sculls: Avon, 1; Canterbury, .2;< Akaroa, 3. Cure also started. Maiden fours: Star (Wellington), 1; Akaroa, 2; Wellington, ‘3. Youths’ double sculls: Union, 1; Cure, 2; Akaroa, 3. Senior fours: Akaroa, 1; Avon. 2; Cure, 3. Canterbury also started. Won by three lengths. Junior double sculls: Wellington, 1; Cnnterbury, 2; Star (Wellington), 3. Youths’ fours: Akaroa, 1; Star, 2; Union, 3. Also started: Canterbury. Maiden double sculls: Timnru. 1; Union, 2; Canterbury, 3. Also started: Akaroa; Wellington, Avon (two crews), Star, Sumner, Redcliffs. Junior fours: Union, 1; Canterbury, 2; Cure, 3. Also started : Avon. Lightweight maiden, double - sculls: Cure, 1; Timaru. 2; Union, 3. Also started: Avon and Akaroa. Welterweight junior fours: Union No. 1,1; Union No. 2,2; Canterbury,. 3. Also started: Avon, Sumner, Redcliffs.
