Session Begins To-day Juries will be empanelled for criminal and civil ynees in the Supreme Court Wellington to-day. when the quarterly session will open. Bankruptcy matters will tie deali with this morning, and the criminal trials also will commence In the afternoon a start will be made with the hearing of a claim for £552 damages, which will be heard before a jury of 12. This ease, it is anticipated will continue on Tuesday, and civil and criminal matters will occupy the attention of the court for the remainder of the week No civil cases will be heard during the second week of the session, as no judge will be available to deal with them but there will be a large number to be dealt with between February 2(1 and March 7 The Court of Appeal will sit on March 11
