Four New Sunspots Seen

Solar observations for October made by Mr. G. V. Hudson of Karorl show that the sun was observed on twenty days during tlie mouth. The disc was completely clear of spots on nine of these days. Four new sunspots' were picked up during the month, all of t<hem very small in size. Moderate to small taeniae were observed on six days only. The observations indicate a continuance'of the solar minimum.
