MUSIC TEACHERS
Invitation Recital Members of the Music Teachers’ Association met at the Pioneer Club rooms on Saturday evening, at the. invitation of Lb.e Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, to hear a pianoforte recital by the board’s examiner, Mr. Gordon Bryan. There was a large attendance, and the president. Air. Gordon Short, was in the chair. Tlie programme ranged from choralepreludes of Bach to sea chanties of Percy Grainger; several numbers being arrangements by Mr. Bryan himself. Among others there were groups by Chopin and Debussy, aud an interesting number by an American composer. Air. Bryan’s commentary was also much appreciated.
